CMA Fashion Must-Haves

What does boots, beer and Country Music have to with each other ? Well, everything I suppose… But, specifically this weekend ? CMA WEEK. Now, since moving to Nashville I have transitioned my genre into Folk/Americana, but your girl still is down to witness some pretty ridiculous Country Music talent this weekend. AND I’m obviously not the only one, considering this festival brings about 85,000 people a day…. Crazy, I know - Good luck with parking ! If Nashville knows how to do one thing right though, it’s throwing a party - and hands down CMA week is the biggest of them all. I will be sharing my essential clothing pieces/accessories and a lineup of remarkable talent to stop by and have a listen to. Check em out if you know what’s good for you (:

The ROMPER - Easy, Stress-free.. But just don’t go pee.

Okay, am I the only who feels that the romper is the Queen of the underdog clothing items ? Whoever thought of this clothing masterpiece was extremely witty and possibly lazy. But, I owe them all my late to writing session morning’s. Why you may ask? When in doubt, put a romper on. I can’t be bothered when I’m exhausted to actually have the energy or time to create a trendy, well thought-out outfit, That’s why the romper is THEanswer for every late, lazy morning/afternoon/night. Specifically for CMA week though, It will be blisteringly hot outside and considering I will be walking to each venue I will be performing at, I need to feel as light and airy as possible. This flowy romper works wonders for outrageous temperatures. Only negative ? Just hold your pee for as long as your little bladder can. You don’t want to go pee in a romper - no need for further explanation, but if you know, you just KNOW.

WOO! Ladies and Gents, meet Durango! Last year at CMA Week I had the privilege of meeting some wonderful folks at this companies booth and fell in love immediately with their organic, fresh take on today’s cowboy boot. Hippie Chic

This is honestly an essential of mine daily. I am such a fan of free flowing materials during the summer time. A. Because, I can not and will not wear jeans, B. They are generally more flattering then tighter fitted dresses in some cases C. Eat your heart out! They hide all the food babies lady’s. In all seriousness, I constantly get compliments when I wear this style of dress and I feel great wearing them too. Feel good, look good right ?

I chose to wear yet again another killer pair of boots from the lovely Durango ! These babies I’ve been wearing for quite some time and they never fail to match with almost everything in my closet !
